I'm thrilled to tell you that I've officially joined the crew at SetteNews, the news and information website where I'll be covering music and entertainment in my very own column, “Col rock non si scherza (ma io sì)”. For our non-Italian listeners, that roughly translates to "You don't joke about rock (but I do)", which pretty much sums up my entire approach to life.

Let's be honest: it was the only sensible career move left. In real life, I spend a frankly suspicious amount of time spinning records, chasing stories, hoarding musical trivia nobody asked for, and talking to anyone who stands still long enough. Somebody had to put all that to good use, and SetteNews was brave enough to try.

Because here's the whole point. Behind every great song, every quirky little anecdote, and every person you run into at work, on the subway, or just around the corner, there's a story waiting to be told over a seriously good soundtrack. I fully intend to tell as many of them as I can, for as long as someone lets me get away with it.
